Nicole’s Very Special Contribution to Take Back The Night Thursday Sept 26

Nicole Aube, Kitchener singer songwriter, releases her first single from the album Philosoft, to benefit charity. All revenue from online sales of ‘Ninth Madder Dream (The Bangladesh Song)’ goes toward funding the SASC*, who operate the Take Back The Night rally on September 26th, 2013.
*SASC: The Sexual Assault Support Center in Waterloo Region and Cambridge provides free services to victims of sexual violence including: Individual Counseling, Support Groups, Accompaniment to Court, Hospital and Police, A 24-Hour Crisis Line, Family Court Support, and Social Education, Information and Awareness.*
There are long wait-lists for private counseling at the SASC in Waterloo Region.

About Nicole

Nicole Aube is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and music producer.
She moved to Kitchener, Ontario as a child with her parents and sister, then spent her late teens and early twenties in Toronto, earning a degree at York University (English Spec. HBA, Music minor). After graduating, Nicole traveled around Ontario performing at folk clubs, and recording her demos at no fewer than 8 different professional and home studios.

Philosoft, her professional debut, was recorded at Cedartree Recording Studios in Kitchener from 2006-2011. Nicole has been releasing it slowly, physical copies of the album were available in 2012, and a digital release is coming in 2013.
