Create an RSS podcast feed on WordPress
WordPress can create a subscribable podcast feed for your radio show.
- Create a new blog post
- Select "Add media",
- Upload the media file,
- Select "Insert into post"
- WordPress inserts the text [audio mp3="https://path/to/mediafile.mp3"][/audio]
- Change this to [embed]https://path/to/mediafile.mp3[/embed]
- Add the tag "podcast" to your post
- Add the Category for your show name
- Type in your show notes, music list, &c.
- Publish!
Your podcast RSS feed is https://radiowaterloo.ca/category/your-show-name/feed/?tag=podcast
You can get a feed of all podcast episodes on Radio Waterloo with https://radiowaterloo.ca/tag/podcast/feed
Note that using the trackable link does not work:
