  • Requiem : Reruns on Requiem this week......back "live " next week. Thanks to listeners.
  • Requiem : Bob: Yeah wonder why we're hearing SexPistols God save the Queen so much!? If you notice on the version I played, somebody had already over-dubbed "King" over "Queen!"
  • Requiem : To Father to Son: Not many Shows that can match Alice!
  • ProfJohnMaple : Join us live on Zoom every Wednesday evening from 7 to 10 PM Eastern local time! https://www.facebook.com/WESwingDance/events/
  • Father To Son : Father To Son tonight at 7 PM.........If You Love The Dead...............
  • Father To Son : The Alice Cooper Show...Took Ben to see Alice two weeks ago and he loved it! Listen to our reactions to the show and hear some live audio of the encore!
  • Bob Jonkman : Ah yes, The Sex Pistols's "God Save The Queen". That's been getting a lot of airplay on CKMS the last couple of weeks. No doubt an editorial decision by someone 🙂
  • Bob Jonkman : OK, back to catch the rest of Requiem For Rock Queen Edition!
  • Requiem : I'll let you know when I rebroadcast the Glam Edition.....
  • Requiem : Thanks for listening Bob! Take care
  • Bob Jonkman : Sorry, gotta go. Will catch the rest on Friday.
  • Bob Jonkman : If you're short of an episode, I'd love to hear it!
  • Requiem : Yes there is. A long time ago. I could revive it ......
  • Bob Jonkman : Is there an R4R on Glam Rock?
  • Requiem : lol Gary Glitter! He played a part in his time.....schlock Glam! Screaming Lord Sutch was the Godfather of Glam.
  • Bob Jonkman : When I hear Glam Rock I think Gary Glitter, and then my knowledge runs out.
  • Requiem : Oh yes. Big Hair was really a "hair extension" ( groan) of earlier Glam! Glam was a creative force indeed. Got a couple of glam songs to come on the show tonight.....
  • Bob Jonkman : And that's a whole 'nother genre I know little about, Glam Rock. Is that different from Big Hair Rock?
  • Requiem : Be worth doing. He was a real influence on Glam to come.....
  • Bob Jonkman : Hm. Maybe I can play a whole set of Donovan on Drop-In DJ some night.
  • Requiem : Donovan: A lot of great psychedelia stuff. Sunshine Superman...jennifer Juniper......etc. Queen Mab.
  • Bob Jonkman : I really only know "Mellow Yellow", but I know he did a lot more. Will have to rabbithole YouTube later!
  • Requiem : yes it's a nice piece . QUEEN MAB....Donovan
  • Requiem : As if to answer yoru question.......just said so on the show!
  • Bob Jonkman : This is nice tho. Psychedelic Donovan?
  • Requiem : Yeah...and pretentious on the surface. Though that might be ok too!
  • Bob Jonkman : That's what I'm having trouble envisioning. "Queen" might have been a double entendre. "King" is just, well, monarchous.
  • Requiem : True. Just "KING".......might work?!
  • Bob Jonkman : Yeh, but that's not the same...
  • Requiem : King Crimson?
  • Bob Jonkman : I can't imagine a rock group named "King"...
  • Requiem : Gotta stretch it all out a wee bit more...!
  • Bob Jonkman : I thought we were done with Queen things after Monday...
  • Requiem : Queen as Muse........on Requiem for Rock! And an adios to the great Sonny West.....OH BOY, RAVE ON!
  • Bob Jonkman : Monday nights are so good for music. "Father To Son", "So Old It's New", "Klausterfokken", and now "Late Night Vibes". I'm glad DJ Maciek got logged in tonight.

  • Maciek : Great idea Karlo, I will spread the word 🙂
  • Bob Jonkman : Anyway, tell your friends! Drop-In DJ is open to all CKMS programmers!
  • Bob Jonkman : Drop-In DJ came from an idea from Karlo Berkovich, "DJ Bald Boy" of "So Old It's New". Possibly it's on the schedule a bit later at night than he expected...
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, good music! Thanx!
  • Maciek : That was fun. Thank you Bob
  • Bob Jonkman : More summertime!
  • Bob Jonkman : Sounds great!

  • REQUIEM : Hear the songs from down in the Valley....Death Valley. On Requiem for Rock.....
  • REQUIEM : MidSummer Night on REQUIEM FOR ROCK
  • Bob Jonkman : You can find JP Sunga online at https://www.jpsunga.com/
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi guest_9233: From 12:21pm-12:25pm on Saturday, 16 July 2022 we played a track by local musician JP Sunga called "In My Bones"
  • guest_9233 : would you happen to know the artist as well?
  • WAMfan : Is it Valentine's Day?
  • guest_9233 : What song was playing around 12:23 today? "Did you think we'd be satisfied" or something like that was a line
  • Julie : Honestly, all the rhyme is against the ladies. Are all you guys lovin MEN?
  • Julie : Show is hype as always!
  • Julie : How are you Carlos
  • REQUIEM : ok.............enjoy the beverages! goodnight
  • Bob Jonkman : I'll drop in on Friday to have a listen to the beverage gap.
  • Bob Jonkman : In theory, once it's available on a public platform there's no need to put it on additional platforms
  • REQUIEM : glad you liked the show. Take care Bob and thanks again.
  • REQUIEM : Yes...be nice to do it once and then buttons to upload to other platforms
  • Bob Jonkman : Good show tonight! Thanx!
  • Bob Jonkman : And you're uploading your shows a few more times, to !eDDS and to Spotify...
  • Bob Jonkman : But it would be nice to have a single repository for pre-recorded shows that we also want to distribute as podcasts. Right now we have to upload them twice (once to LibreTime for broadcast, once to the website for podcast distribution)
  • REQUIEM : thanks for your time and help as always
  • Bob Jonkman : The LibreTime library (where you upload your shows) isn't publicly visible. Largely that's so we don't accidentally distribute copyrighted music in the library
  • REQUIEM : yes I need to do that......
  • Bob Jonkman : Join us some Sunday night at 8:30pm for a ProgCom / Drop-In DJ / Training session, and we can go over creating episode pages and podcasts
  • REQUIEM : ok thanks.
  • REQUIEM : i tried that before with no success.......sigh
  • Bob Jonkman : No, it's one-way in the other direction
  • REQUIEM : well if it is an easy click to upload Requiem from Libre...that would be nice. If not, I'l lhave to try to figure it out...
  • Bob Jonkman : On the other hand, if you create episode pages here on radiowaterloo.ca then you can add the sound file, and that creates an automatic podcast, similar to what !eDDS and Spotify offer
  • Bob Jonkman : And while I think I can upload to !eDDS I'm not sure I can upload to the Requiem program
  • REQUIEM : No I want to stick with what I am doing rather than use a different platform like earshot.
  • REQUIEM : But if from there it can be sent to earshot.
  • Bob Jonkman : Sorry, I meant that if you're uploading to !eDDS then I can add that feed to automatically get them into LibreTime.
  • REQUIEM : i mean I'd rather upload the show onto CKMS Libretime as always.
  • REQUIEM : Well if you can do that and its not a lot of work for you. At least till I can figure it out.
  • Bob Jonkman : I suppose I could set up LibreTime to download from !eDDS like we do for other NCRA syndicated programs. But I prever that you do it, that way you have some control over the schedule
  • REQUIEM : well i just want to make the show available to them in case they will play it somewhere.
  • Bob Jonkman : !earshot DDS is a great idea, but it lacks something in a good user experience
  • REQUIEM : uploading to ckms libretime won't change though, right?
  • REQUIEM : Thanks for the reply regards Earshot. It s confusing...
  • Bob Jonkman : ...syndicated *to* us, I guess.
  • REQUIEM : cool to have programmers from all over......
  • Bob Jonkman : ...and all original CKMS programming, not just syndicated by us
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, CKMS is quite the international station. 81 82 83 84 from Texas, Late Night Vibes from California, From The Void from Nova Scotia...
  • REQUIEM : 81 82 83 84 .......from Texas!
  • REQUIEM : Appreciate the listen.........for sure.
  • Bob Jonkman : I'll have to listen again on Friday
  • REQUIEM : No problem lol.
  • Bob Jonkman : Sorry, I stepped out for a beverage at one point...
  • REQUIEM : I played that song on the show tonight....
  • Bob Jonkman : Muddy Waters' version of Rollin Stone
  • REQUIEM : to what?
  • Bob Jonkman : I'm going have do some YouTube rabbitholing to listen to that...
  • REQUIEM : The Stones took the name from that Muddy waters tune....rollin stone...
  • REQUIEM : its certainly a popular phrase in Music!
  • Bob Jonkman : Before I knew that "Rolling Stone" was a magazine I thought that "The Cover of Rolling Stone" had something to do with an album sleeve of The Rolling Stones...
  • REQUIEM : Yeah me too. He was more talented than he ever got credit for.
  • Bob Jonkman : He's still an older kid than me...
  • REQUIEM : I know! I remember when he was an older kid than me when he put that one out
  • Bob Jonkman : Donny Osmond sounds *so young*!
  • REQUIEM : Right.
  • Bob Jonkman : Because most local musicians haven't charted on Billboard we can categorize their music, um, "creatively" and avoid exceeding the Rock Pop and Dance limit
  • REQUIEM : Absolutely! Long live free CKMS radio!
  • Bob Jonkman : There's our niche, the anti-corporate-shill DJs for local musicians!
  • REQUIEM : I see. Canuck Kremlin style control from a Madison ave. company!
  • Bob Jonkman : And then the CRTC specifically names Billboard Canada as one of those arbiters
  • Bob Jonkman : In our Programming Committee meetings we're constantly juggling programs so that we don't exceed the allowed amount of "Rock Pop and Dance" music "as determined by trade publications"
  • REQUIEM : wow. Interesting...hmm.
  • Bob Jonkman : Even today, the CRTC determines what and how much popular music we can play on Community Radio based on the charts published in Billboard Magazine
  • REQUIEM : Hi Bob. Yes....Print Rock!
  • Bob Jonkman : Listenin g to a show about reading...
  • REQUIEM : Hear the influence of PRINT ROCK ....the Fanzines.........on popular music. Hear all on Requiem for Rock

  • REQUIEM : 81 82 83 84 ...grabs the essence..the zeitgeist of that era! With some really interesting offbeat stuff and covers too!
  • REQUIEM : Yeah 'Fly Away" is Americana....
  • REQUIEM : I was just going by the chat box below about the Professor
  • Bob Jonkman : And I'd have categorized "We'll Fly Away" more as Bluegrass than anything else
  • Bob Jonkman : Odd, that. The WESwingDance program isn't on CKMS...
  • REQUIEM : Wheels by the String-alongs...recorded at NOVAJAK. Here's a Requiem version of sugar shack...PROFJOHN MAPLE played a version of this one in his set earlier this week...
  • Bob Jonkman : I never knew the name of that. "Wheels..."
  • REQUIEM : yes that too.......in archeological anthropology. But they say it lurks to this day!
  • Bob Jonkman : Ah! I thought it was more like Piltdown Man....
  • REQUIEM : Also "Clovis Man" is a sort of "Bigfoot" who is sometimes seen roaming the Prairies of the Texas Panhandle and New Mexico.
  • REQUIEM : Well his studio "NOVAJAK" was in Clovis New Mexico...his hometown.
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi Mr. Smart!
  • REQUIEM : It should be evident during the remainder. Hi Bob!
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi! I'm going to have to listen to the #Replay to find out why Norm Petty is called Clovis Man, aren't I?
  • REQUIEM : On Requiem for Rock that is!

  • Smart Alec : Yes catch the first part of the show on Sunday if you can. Well goodnight fo rnow Bob and thanks again for coming on. Oh and my suggestion again to the Board....find a way to promote this listenlive listener chat page
  • Smart Alec : Timbiebs! lol
  • Bob Jonkman : Ah yes. Tim Biebs. Glad I caught part of the show, and the conversation. Will try to catch the #Replay on Saturday
  • Smart Alec : Thanks for coming to listen tonight Bob...appreciate that.
  • Smart Alec : well nothing we can do about all that now lol. The future marches on...
  • Smart Alec : Beiber another classic example. Its all in marketing...yes like S hania. No need for any capacity to actually sing
  • Bob Jonkman : Shania Twain is a good example of that. She came from around here, and sang with my father-in-law at various Barn Dance performances. A gawky teen with an OK voice. But a bit of cosmetic surgery and autotune, and she's the biggest money-making country singer on the planet!
  • Requiem : Well i think there were pieces of uber-tech in the 80's yes. But integrated into the song, along with the human organic aspect. Now they just produce the music in studio factories. They can pluck almost anyone out of th ecrowd and have them record. As long as they are marketable, who cares about talent? We;ll just manufacture all that!
  • Bob Jonkman : Or did it?
  • Bob Jonkman : But the innovations made by Kraftwerk was adopted into the mainstream, and all the 1980's New Wave followed by Synth Pop displaced Rock'n'Roll.
  • Requiem : Nothing is "wrong" in musical production. Merely my own humble opinion.
  • Requiem : well that was a sub-genre...an experimentation...kinda esoteric even then actually. A limited audience.
  • Bob Jonkman : Did Kraftwerk spell the end of Rock'n'Roll?
  • Requiem : yes that would be an intesting format
  • Bob Jonkman : See if there's an y soul left in the music
  • Requiem : i guess I'd rather go listen to a horrible garage band than any computer-generated act.
  • Bob Jonkman : Find a good example of music produced by analogue methods, then find a cover that's done with digital enhancements.
  • Requiem : But always willing to learn.
  • Requiem : I don't know anything about "cyber musicians!" lol
  • Bob Jonkman : Or maybe how the golden days of Rock'n'Roll are gone because of technology
  • Requiem : For example...today's vocalists basically all sound exactly the same...a semi-mechanical tone to their voices...tinny and quasi-robotic...
  • Bob Jonkman : Looks like you need to do a show on music by people who rely on technology - the cybermusician!
  • Requiem : Perhaps that all feeds into a zeitgeist of instant gratification today...just dial up your talent on baords. Why do al lthe tedious learning of instruments or finding one's voice organically?
  • Bob Jonkman : I think there may have been some insecurity at play, perhaps he was afraid of being eclipsed by other people who had been "mediocre musicians" until the advent of technology freed their creativity.
  • Bob Jonkman : Someone I used to work with was a "mediocre musician", and was very much opposed to all the technology that was coming out at the time (1980) because it would allow people lacking in technical skills to produce good music. But I thought it would give people with creativity a chance to produce music without needing the coordination to hold a guitar or blow in to a trumpet.
  • Requiem : as for "mediocre" musicians......talent is no precursor for success.
  • Requiem : Ah but doesn't that merely blur the line between organic human musical expression and simply "manufacturing" music?
  • Bob Jonkman : Oh, I don't know. There's a lot of creative sound bending that's being done with autotune technology. It's not just used to make mediocre musicians lots of money
  • Requiem : Auto Tune is the death of honest music....
  • Bob Jonkman : I saw the Rumble movie on YouTube. I think I may have mentioned that before. Great documentary on Indigenous rock musicians
  • Requiem : Yes Rumble. Only Instrumental song ever to be Banned from airwaves!
  • Requiem : yes...81-84 plays a lot of obscure but geat cover songs!
  • Bob Jonkman : Rumble?
  • Requiem : yes...Like Link Wray who I played tonight before you arrived.
  • Bob Jonkman : This is a good episode. I've been humming Midnight Hour since last Saturday night!
  • Bob Jonkman : Even today with digital processing people are using auto-tune as an instrument in itself.
  • Requiem : 81 82 83 84 .....Great Roxy Music version of Pickett's Midnight Hour!
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, using the deficiencies of tech for creative sound generation: Distortion, fuzz, delays, frequency attenuation...
  • Requiem : So much techno today..it s overwhelming really. Yet the sound of the past was so much more..interesting.
  • Bob Jonkman : Yeh, Good sound is important. That reminds me, I've gotta fix the output of my mixer, it distorts the audio for BUTT (making for terrible Remote Live-To-Air interviews)
  • Requiem : But yeah you gotta have good sound or its no fun!
  • Requiem : Ah the quasi-religous experience of the 70's Rock Concert! Never to be again..!
  • Bob Jonkman : The music only overrides all that if you're already familiar with the works. Then the sonic bulldozer in the stadium functions as an aide memoire and you're actually enjoying your good memories of what the music should sound like. But those of us who came long for the company of fellow concert goers without a good knowledge of the music don't have that...
  • Requiem : But the music over rides al lthat. Thats al l that really maters...
  • Requiem : Exhibition stadium was such an audio wasteland! Everything the Stones do involves cold cash!
  • Bob Jonkman : Didn't the Rolling Stones have a tour like that?
  • Requiem : They oughta be honest and call their tour the same as the sex pistols..." the filthy lucre tour!"
  • Bob Jonkman : Don't remember much. The sound was horrible, and we were so far away in the upper reaches of Exhibition Stadium we couldn't see anything either.
  • Bob Jonkman : I saw them twice in Toronto, it may have been the Farewell Tour where they started in Toronto, then came back for a repeat at the tail end. Or maybe it was another Farewell tour...
  • Requiem : In the days of Rock excess.....keith was the worst!
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, one of the first rock musician tragedies I became aware of
  • Requiem : Keith Moon about 44 years
  • Bob Jonkman : 20 years ago!
  • Bob Jonkman : John Entwistle died!
  • Requiem : Only 2 original members surviving
  • Requiem : Yeah unfortunately its business first....yeah..the Who return to Cincinnati!
  • Bob Jonkman : F'rinstance
  • Bob Jonkman : I hear The Who are gearing up to make their third or fourth Farewell Tour
  • Bob Jonkman : And I'm not talking about small-venue local musicians with a limited audience.
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, aside from awards, there are a number of musicians who have given up the rock'n'roll life because they weren't making a living. Yet the record company execs make out OK.
  • Requiem : Feeds? More like bleeds!
  • Bob Jonkman : Biting the hand that feeds?
  • Requiem : Thanks fo r coming anytime you can Bob!
  • Bob Jonkman : Hello Mr. Smart! Sorry I'm late! And having missed the last few weeks!

If you can, fill in some more of the metatdata - right now you have the filename in "Title", and I usually add Artist=Mr. Smart, Album=Requiem For Rock, and the year. I'd put in an episode number into the Track field if I knew the episode numbers. You can even add your show logo to the file, which will appear when it's played back
  • Requiem : CHECK OUT 81 82 83 84....now on after Requiem fo rRock. Great early 80's retro!
  • Requiem : so the audio file I upload on Libretime I can upload onto CKMS website?
  • Bob Jonkman : If the audio files are on the website people can listen any time. And it becomes available as a podcast too. https://radiowaterloo.ca/podcasts
  • Bob Jonkman : Wednesdays have shaped up to be a good music night. Some niche stuff on Golden Record, then some curated punk, R4R, old New Wave, and DJ DC has a pretty mellow overnight show
  • Requiem : If I post on the website do people listen to the shows then...in their own time?
  • Requiem : it is a good lead in
  • Bob Jonkman : He's been on a few months on Saturdays at 10pm. New #Replay slot for him on Wednesday, tho.
  • Requiem : Great. So he's a new show? Best wishes to him!
  • Bob Jonkman : Cool. Looking forward to see ing R4R there. If you're up to the extra work, you can post episodes to the Radio Waterloo website too
  • Bob Jonkman : Yup. I suggested to Lee Gregory that R4R would be a good lead-in for his (mostly) rock program
  • Requiem : Be well and safe.....
  • Requiem : thasnks fo rlistening Bob. Much appreciated as always. I'll update you on the Exchange.
  • Requiem : hey just heard a tag intro on 81 82 83 84 " right after Requiem for Rock." cool
  • Bob Jonkman : Another good show! I'm going up for another cuppa tea.
  • Requiem : the musicianship is always top notch.
  • Requiem : Well lik eMarx said..."The ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class..." Same goes in Music sales.
  • Bob Jonkman : Or maybe that's just another face of corporatocracy.
  • Bob Jonkman : Seems to top the hit charts often enough.
  • Requiem : i mean its "competent" music. Usually sponsored by Corporations as a sideline.
  • Requiem : yeah...just a musical buck. Hot shot musicians doing formula.
  • Bob Jonkman : "Corporate rock" has a certain sadness to it.
  • Requiem : No. Kinda "loverboy" though. 80's corporate rock stuff.
  • Bob Jonkman : Hm. Looking at the Foreigner page on Wikipedia. Thought they were Canadian, for some reason.
  • Requiem : thanks. yes i saw that before. Seems straightforward..but not. lol
  • Bob Jonkman : There seem to be instructions at https://previous.ncra.ca/px_help.cfm
  • Requiem : I went there once and got tyhe password and user name.....but Posting seemed tricky. I'll try again.
  • Bob Jonkman : I think it would be a great idea to get more Radio Waterloo programs on the Exchange. We're an NCRA member, so we could participate in things like that
  • Requiem : yes I have noticed those shows are imported.
  • Requiem : Since I record one most weeks may as well. Though Radio waterloo rocks!
  • Bob Jonkman : We get things like Revolution Rock, Amplified Radio Network, Freedom Principle, CanQueer, World Beat Canada, Back Porch Bluegrass (from New Zealand!) Even CBC's Front Burner comes from the Exchange.
  • Requiem : Well it would be cool to have that avenue to have the show played. I'll work on it.
  • Bob Jonkman : I don't think anyone from Radio Waterloo currently submits their show to the Exchange.
  • Requiem : Are any RW Shows posted on there but just don't get used? I am a neophyte on this radio biz stuff lol
  • Bob Jonkman : Not yet 🙂
  • Requiem : I see. And are any Radio Waterloo original shows on that NCRA Listing?
  • Bob Jonkman : Radio Waterloo uses several shows from the NCRA as syndicated programming. Not just filler, but content on its own
  • Requiem : Thats what happens right? Some Station may pick it up to use as filler/buffer?
  • Requiem : Thanks. I have got to figure out how to Post on there. i do have a Username and Password now for CRE
  • Bob Jonkman : R4R would make an excellent addition to Community Exchange
  • Requiem : Appropriate name for that function.
  • Bob Jonkman : It was before the term "firewall" was common. Janus was a "bastion server"
  • Requiem : funny. Thats Janus!
  • Bob Jonkman : I first ran into Janus at the introduction of one of the first computer firewalls, named Janus. Looking both in and out...
  • Requiem : I want to try to get the show up on that Community Radio exchange. So then it may be used as buffers on other stations, right?
  • Requiem : Its cool when listeners do google searches about the material. Thanks.
  • Bob Jonkman : Nice Janus pics on Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=january+janus&tbm=isch
  • Bob Jonkman : My schedule was changed. Wednesdays aren't the free-for-all they used to be
  • Requiem : Hope all is well....
  • Bob Jonkman : weeks
  • Bob Jonkman : Nice to be back. I've missed a few wees
  • Requiem : Thanks for the visit!
  • Requiem : Hi Bob!
  • Bob Jonkman : Hello Mr. Smart!
  • Bob Jonkman : TIL: Janus = January
  • Requiem : Join me on REQUIEM ...the songs of the Cold.
  • Requiem : Come hear about sweet Sue on R4R!!
  • Maxine : Love the vibez cuz
  • nattyphysicist : Bigup the Reggae Patrol!
  • nattyphysicist : Awesome tunes right now
  • Requiem : yes peace and joy...even if belated!
  • Bob Jonkman : Happy New Year to you too, and a belated Merry Christmas!
  • Requiem : Thanks Bob. Best of the the New Year to you!
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi Mr. Smart! Sorry, I'm not tuned in right now. Will have to catch the #Replay on Sunday at Noon.
  • Requiem : Happy Hogmanay from REQUIEM FOR ROCK!
  • nattyphysicist : Happy Holidays!
  • REQUIEM : Thanks so much for listening Natasha!!
  • Natasha : Such a meaningful story thank you for sharing it Mr . Smart
  • REQUIEM : Merry Christmas back at ya Gary & Ben! And the same from REQUIEM FOR ROCK to all!
  • Father To Son : Please listen to the Father To Son Christmas Show on Monday December 20 at 10 PM and Saturday December 25 at 9:00 AM.........Merry Christmas from Gary and Ben!!!
  • REQUIEM FOR ROCK : Join me in the bargain basement at R4R
  • REQUIEM : oh no problem. Appreciate anyone who listens when they can! It kinda lost continuity anyway with losing the first 15 min or so....
  • Bob Jonkman : Sorry I was a bit inattentive tonight...
  • REQUIEM : Thanks to tech for getting the show up. Join me next week or Sunday for REQUEIM FOR ROCK.
  • REQUIEM : wow 5 hours +
  • Bob Jonkman : I'm surprised at how big that buffer is. That was audio queued up from around 4pm or 5pm
  • guest_1839 : yes its on now....thanks.
  • Bob Jonkman : OK, I'm hearing the mellifluous tones of Mr. Smart now...
  • REQUIEM : ok good to know .
  • Bob Jonkman : Indeed. Buffering from the outage. Working on resetting the buffers now.
  • REQUIEM : This music is NOT Requiem for Rock.....
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi Mr. Smart! Sorry, only listening with half an ear. Still doing some work from today's outage (resetting buffers, adding monitors)
  • REQUIEM : Hopefuly a newly written piece next week
  • REQUIEM : Thanks so much for the listen!
  • Bob Jonkman : Another nice show, thanx!
  • Bob Jonkman : Nice to get a plug in for fundraising! We may hold another fundraiser before the end of the year, to be determined at the next Board meeting (17 Dec 2021).
  • REQUIEM : I guess its an M.O.R. Pop number. yes could be Bluesy with different arrangements......
  • Bob Jonkman : I guess "Midnight At The Oasis" isn't blues. But with a bit of re-orchestration, maybe....
  • REQUIEM : Yes a lot are.......but not every song I played on this show is Blues....
  • Bob Jonkman : Seems all the "Midnight" songs are Rockin' Blues...
  • REQUIEM : yes lots of good songs with whistles in them....
  • Bob Jonkman : Whistling would be a good R4R theme show!
  • REQUIEM : tonight is a rerun.....
  • REQUIEM : an all whistle station..........! comin right at ya ..whistlin Dixie!
  • Bob Jonkman : "CKMS-FM: All whistles, all the time!"
  • REQUIEM : lol......well the last song I played last week did have lots of whistles in it
  • Bob Jonkman : Hm. I think Jakobi posted that yesterday sometime... Gotta get decent timestamps on this chat box!
  • REQUIEM : regards th elast song played on Requiem last Wednesday
  • REQUIEM : Hi Bob. No I was just answering the question asked by "Jakobi"
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi Mr. Smart! Missed the opening, were you playing The Stones?
  • REQUIEM : That was the Rolling Stones cover of Rufus Thomas' "WALKIN' THE DOG"
  • Jakobi : WHAT WAS THE LAST SONG THAT SOUNDED LIKE A WHISTLE THE WHOLE TIME ??????
  • REQUIEM : REQUIEM FOR ROCK ...live now.
  • Bob Jonkman : Now listening to R.E.A.L Radio, with DJ Maciek filling in again. Catch him on Twitch TV at https://www.twitch.tv/dj__maciek
  • REQUIEM : Hope the summer of love show was interesting. See you here next week hopefully!
  • REQUIEM : Thanks fo rth elisten
  • REQUIEM : Yeah
  • Bob Jonkman : A quiet night in Chat
  • REQUIEM : Rocket Ship 7 Rocked!
  • REQUIEM : Hi Bob!
  • REQUIEM : Yes..great song. He stole it. Original is "Crescent City Blues."
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi Mr. Smart! One of the best lyrics: "I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die"
  • REQUIEM : Folsom Prison on REBEL TIME RADIO!
  • REQUIEM : Folsom Prison on REBEL TIME RADIO!
  • Bob Jonkman : Listening to the Requiem For Rock Repeat, just to catch Commander Tom, Rocketship 7, and Promo the Robot 🙂
  • Bob Jonkman : DJ Maciek filling in for DJDC tonight on R.E.A.L Radio. Check the live Twitch stream at https://www.twitch.tv/dj__maciek
  • Bob Jonkman : Thanx! You too! G'night!
  • REQUIEM : goodnight and have a good week!
  • REQUIEM : yes.....same show as tonight.
  • Bob Jonkman : Oops. Yes, Sunday at Noon.
  • REQUIEM : Sunday at noon
  • Bob Jonkman : Maybe I'll catch the missed parts on the #Replay show, Saturday at Noon.
  • REQUIEM : well I'm off......thanks fo rsharing your time with the show Bob. Hope to see you here again soon. i sent an email to radioanon
  • REQUIEM : Yes back in the day when jaunts for shopping happened and the Canadian dollar was worth a lot more!
  • Bob Jonkman : No, I only went to Buffalo once, to buy records that weren't available in Hamilton or Toronto. Bought my first CD there, before I even had a player. A Vangelis CD, I think.
  • REQUIEM : Tonights show was about the Century theater in Buffalo. Ever go there?
  • REQUIEM : he played a Superman..a Flash Gordon and stuff like Roger Ramjet.
  • REQUIEM : Commander Tom WAS Bigger than Santa! lol
  • Bob Jonkman : All my friends' families had rotators, tho.
  • Bob Jonkman : Nope, we didn't have a rotator. Just two arials and a switch to select one or the other.
  • Bob Jonkman : This was Burlington, maybe 1968 or so
  • Bob Jonkman : One Christmas Tom Jolls was in the parade. I was more excited to see Commander Tom than Santa
  • Bob Jonkman : Oh man! That's what I was rabbitholing just now! Yup, I watched those!
  • REQUIEM : early in the show before you came I clipped "rocketship 7" and Commander Tom"
  • REQUIEM : That device was called a "rotator" I do believe.....
  • Bob Jonkman : Yup. We had two arials, one for Buffalo, and one for Toronto. Had to switch them with a small double-pole switch attached to the baseboard beside the TV, depending on which channel you were watching
  • REQUIEM : So you got Channel 7 with an arial? lol
  • REQUIEM : Irv had a great style. Always jovial even if serious....
  • Bob Jonkman : Yup. I thought that's how the news was always delivered.
  • REQUIEM : I always hope to be "interesting" for the show.
  • REQUIEM : Irv rocked!
  • Bob Jonkman : OK, you've got me rabbitholing "Irv Weinstein" and related things on Wikipedia. So it was a good show, keeping me busy!
  • REQUIEM : The Tubes. At the CENTURY THEATER Buffalo
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi Mr. Smart! I remember this, "White Punks On Dope"...
  • REQUIEM : Hi Bob!
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi! Just got out of our Board meeting!
  • REQUIEM : Welcome anyone out there!
  • Bob Jonkman : More dance tunes from DJ Sherice on "It's A Vibe"
  • Bob Jonkman : It's Friday Night! The Dance Party started with DJ Da Don, and carries on with DJ Denim. Watch him in action at https://www.twitch.tv/denim_entertainment
  • Bob Jonkman : Good night, Mr. Smart! Hope to see you again next week!
  • REQUIEM : well goodnight and thanks again..........
  • guest_3328 : right
  • Bob Jonkman : https://radiowaterloo.ca/category/ckms-community-connections/?tag=podcast is probably a better URL to find the podcast episodes
  • Bob Jonkman : All the previous episodes with interviews are at https://radiowaterloo.ca/ccc (near the bottom under "Previous Episodes"). So you can catch up. I don't usually bother making podcasts for the music-only episodes
  • REQUIEM : well the next time you are hosting CCC send me a note if you remember. So I can hear what happens on it.
  • Bob Jonkman : sorry, R4R
  • Bob Jonkman : You're welcome to take some CCC episodes if you want to do something non R$R
  • Bob Jonkman : Jenniefer Stronge started CCC, and meant to showcase the many people who volunteer at CKMS. But it's wandered a bit off-course. I've been doing interviews with local non-profit organizations and musicians, Steve is airing some live performances. Other hosts haven't been involved in a while.
  • REQUIEM : ok thanks. And thanks for the info and help........and the listen!
  • Bob Jonkman : CKMS Community Connections: https://radiowaterloo.ca/ccc
  • Bob Jonkman : But with the studio shutdown I haven't done many. Steve Todd is rebroadcasting some live performances from Lana's Lounge over the next few weeks
  • REQUIEM : right.....that was it! I want to listen to your piece.
  • Bob Jonkman : I sometimes host CKMS Community Connections on Mondays at 11am.
  • REQUIEM : Bob....when is your CKMS Show? I tried to find it in "our shows"
  • Bob Jonkman : No, not on aNONradio. But I got my Live-To-Air login info for Tilde Radio last week, so I might do some CanCon there
  • REQUIEM : You have a show on aNONradio?
  • REQUIEM : I'll send them an email as they mention to do and try to figur eit out
  • Bob Jonkman : Uploading is similar, but uses different software. Check out https://sdf.org/ for more details on fees, &c.
  • REQUIEM : I'll look into it. Though I do like just being CKMS....if its easy enough to post on aNON then yeah why not.
  • REQUIEM : and post pre-recorded shows basically the same way as at "airtime?"
  • Bob Jonkman : Joining aNONradio (which is a part of SDF.org) is free, there are extra features for a small fee
  • REQUIEM : right
  • Bob Jonkman : Both use the same remote Live-To-Air technology as Radio Waterloo, so you can use the same setup if you ever want to go live.
  • REQUIEM : does aNONradio ask a fee? I didn't see any mention of that yet
  • Bob Jonkman : You can post prerecorded shows on aNONradio, don't know about Tilde Radio.
  • REQUIEM : If I can post R4R Shows on there
  • Bob Jonkman : Check out https://tilderadio.org/ too.
  • Bob Jonkman : I guess we can go back through the same messages again...
  • REQUIEM : I'm looking into aNONradio
  • REQUIEM : Sundays. Not usually no.......I just repost the Wednesday show usually.
  • Bob Jonkman : Are you here for live chats on Saturdays too?
  • REQUIEM : Thanks for listening anyone out there! Join me at 10 pm Wednesdays and/or Sundays at noon on CKMS.
  • guest_5104 : But it sa nice ballad actually
  • guest_5104 : "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro was th e#1 stinke rof the 60's according to Rolling Stone
  • guest_5104 : I gott a see if its on the stinker list! lol
  • Bob Jonkman : When you were introducing that one song as the worst of 1969 I thought this might be it.
  • Bob Jonkman : Ah yes, I wondered if Try To Remember would be on the show.
  • REQUIEM : Yeah........JK lol
  • Bob Jonkman : "Ruling Class" LOL
  • REQUIEM : yeah not as chronological as is usually typical of R4R!
  • Bob Jonkman : ..jumping across decades in a single bound!
  • REQUIEM : it was a track on "Rubber Soul" from 1965...
  • Bob Jonkman : This must be one of the more obscure Beatles songs
  • REQUIEM : yeah? Send me details if/when you get a chance........thanks.
  • Bob Jonkman : aNONradio is always looking for new shows and hosts too. Hint hint.
  • REQUIEM : Great! Welcome all and thanks Bob!
  • Bob Jonkman : Got at least 7 listeners online: http://kwvoip.ca:8000/
  • REQUIEM : Oh yeah....cold tea 'whiskey " on his shows.
  • REQUIEM : So does that mean there may be another listener or two?
  • Bob Jonkman : Dino was a teetotaller? Really?
  • Bob Jonkman : Not that I'm trying to drive your listeners away or anything like that, Mr. Smart!
  • Bob Jonkman : aNONradio is at https://anonradio.net with their audio stream at http://anonradio.net:8000/anonradio
  • REQUIEM : And a happy Wednesday your way too! Welcome aNONradio!
  • Bob Jonkman : Happy Wednesday! Bringing my friends from aNONradio along again...
  • Father To Son : Hey, tomorrow is Devil's Night, and a perfect time to listen to the Father To Son "Halloween Show"
  • Bob Jonkman : Another good Street Hop in the can. Thanx, DJ Carmelo!
  • MidnightMusicFan : No DJDC tonight, DJ__Maciek is filling in. Catch him at https://www.twitch.tv/dj__maciek
  • REQUIEM : Appreciate the listen Bob
  • Bob Jonkman : Thanx Mr. Smart!
  • REQUIEM : Thanks to anyone out there who was listening!
  • REQUIEM : cool.......and an old scottish beat to the song..Campbells Coming!
  • Bob Jonkman : Ah, Wikipedia does have it covered: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theyre_Coming_to_Take_Me_Away,_Ha-Haaa!#Technical_background
  • REQUIEM : Thats cool! well you read it somewhere!
  • Bob Jonkman : Nothing on Wikipedia about it, so how could that be true?
  • Bob Jonkman : I remember reading that Napoleon XIV had invented a gadget that could change recording pitch without altering tempo, and the original "Ha Ha" was to showcase that technology
  • REQUIEM : It was a huge Hit. This one was the sequel.
  • Bob Jonkman : I remember sitting in front of the radio in 1966 (when I was a wee lad) and listening to the original "They're Coming To Take Me Away Ha Ha" broadcast from Radio Veronica (in the Netherlands)
  • ffog : i'm tuned in 🙂
  • REQUIEM : Hello ffog
  • Bob Jonkman : Hey ffog! Follow along with the music at https://radiowaterloo.ca/stream2
  • ffog : wudup
  • REQUIEM : A bit of that..and some halloween fun! So thanks for joining!
  • Bob Jonkman : I'm expecting "Interesting and Disturbing" tonight on the R4R Hallowe'n show!
  • REQUIEM : Interesting and Disturbing...two great adjectives. Good to hear! Thanks to Bob and Natasha for the listen!
  • Bob Jonkman : Interesting, if disturbing show tonight. Thanx, Mr. Smart!
  • REQUIEM : lol me too!
  • Bob Jonkman : Oh. I always get "Tom" and "Jerry" mixed up too.
  • REQUIEM : I think the US Soldiers called the Viet Cong "Charlie."
  • Bob Jonkman : Ah. Whitman. I thought you were referring to "Charlie" as a generic American soldier...
  • REQUIEM : i mean a listener could do so......
  • REQUIEM : A lot of my show can be visually produced by going to google street view....or youtube
  • Bob Jonkman : Moving pictures, even.
  • Bob Jonkman : It's at times like this that I wish someone had invented radio with pictures.
  • REQUIEM : Thanks for listening Natasha! Yes....the show songs of 66!
  • Natasha : Walk down tv memory lane tonight!
  • REQUIEM : Good idea. So many..though they don't get the attention they should.
  • Bob Jonkman : We need a show on "Cool Bass Lines". I nominate "16 Tons", and "The Cat Came Back"
  • REQUIEM : Its a very cool Bass run!
  • guest_9283 : semi-tones I'd say. But I dunno. ...
  • Bob Jonkman : OK, a music theory question. On "These Boots Are Made For Walking" there's that descending bass line. Are those notes semi-tones, or an even smaller interval?
  • REQUIEM : I see. such tech!
  • Bob Jonkman : I'm posting from https://radiowaterloo.ca/now-playing/ where the track titles are cryptically revealed
  • REQUIEM : Hi Bob!
  • REQUIEM : That will be revealed at thre end of the show. Thanks
  • Bob Jonkman : Hi Mr. Smart! Why is this episode called "Whitman"?
  • REQUIEM : Join me at Requiem for Rock.....
  • Bob Jonkman : I wonder if DJ Steele ever drops in here during Mano A Mano
  • Jeff Carvery : The Jack and Mark Show - Funny!
  • Requiem : You gotta call-in to request that one Natasha!
  • Natasha : Play Misty for me
  • Requiem : Any suggestions for Requiem topics always welcome!
  • Requiem : No #1...don't know why?! The first Highway is number two!
  • Natasha : No highway 1? WTF Requiem?
  • guest_3693 : woooot
  • REQUIEM : Back "live' tonight Bob. Thanks as always for the listen!
  • Bob Jonkman : So this week I'm here, but Mr. Smart is not. He's got a week off, and a rerun of R4RWHEELS is playing today
  • Father To Son : Join Ben and I this Saturday at 9:00 AM for the Father To Son show this week's guest is Mark "Pontiac Lover" Guy, he's going to talk about his cars and we'll hear some great "Car" Tunes
  • REQUIEM : Requiem For Rock live now........
  • Bob Jonkman : Show notes for today's CCC at https://radiowaterloo.ca/ckms-community-connections-for-27-september-2021-last-weeks-music/
  • Bob Jonkman : Today's CKMS #CommunityConnections has all the music I didn't play last week. Including @SohaylaSmith , @MacQueensMusic , @MMasurkevitch , @PettyHalfwit , @clarissadiokno , @ParagonCause , @hypnotic_mirage , @rsantodomingo , and non #CanCon from @LOOKMUMNOCMPUTR
  • Bob Jonkman : Mo Markham from #KWVegfest is on CKMS #CommunityConnections today, along with #CanCon and #KWCon musicians Raoul Santodomingo , Petty Halfwit , Sam & The Terrible News, Hypnotic Mirage , The MacQueens , Michael Masurkevitch , and our very own Stewart McKie! Tune in at 11am!
  • Father To Son : Please join us for some fun!!
  • Father To Son : Hey, it's The Love Show on Father To Son Saturday at 9 AM, Song that have Love in the title
  • Deep Bass Dancer : Some fine toonz comin from da Pressure Drop
  • Bob Jonkman : Or is that "Girls' Rock"?
  • Bob Jonkman : Appears to be a repeat, "Girls Rock" on Requiem For Rock.
  • REQUIEM : ok Bob.....take care and thanks again for the listen!
  • Bob Jonkman : Great! see you then. And thanx for the show!
  • REQUIEM : typos...those fingers don't go...like you said!
  • REQUIEM : I'll join the Sunday workshop and write down the methodolgies.
  • REQUIEM : Thansk again fo ryour support and info
  • REQUIEM : It sjust that new comers see such old Posts they get a bad impression that the station is dead or the comments are disabled.
  • Bob Jonkman : OK, let me run it by TechCom. It seems like a good idea.
  • REQUIEM : a general Email to all Programmers to encourage use of this chat window would be useful.w
  • REQUIEM : the first message in this window is the congrats from Admin
  • REQUIEM : Just my input.......the old "159 thoughts on listenlive" should be got rid of onthis page.
  • Bob Jonkman : Hm. It's configured for 999 messages in the Chat
  • REQUIEM : there is a congrats message from "admin" about the successful install.
  • Bob Jonkman : Makes sense. I think the Comments stopped around the time the Chat was implemented
  • REQUIEM : It seems it goes back to the very first posting
  • REQUIEM : ok....But my input would be that when people see comments where there has been none since February then it give sthe impression that it doesn't work..........or the station is sooo dead that no one said anything for 7 months!
  • Bob Jonkman : One of the things I don't know is how long this chat window record is.
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, the comments could be removed. I'd prefer to keep them, tho. I like the historical record.
  • REQUIEM : yes this chat works perfect and should be promoted
  • REQUIEM : is it possible to remove those old comments threads that run below and are really old?
  • Bob Jonkman : The comments used to be the only way for people to interact with show hosts. But new commenters had to get the approval stamp from a moderator, so the interaction could be delayed by days. This chat is much better.
  • REQUIEM : this box needs more Promo
  • REQUIEM : right
  • REQUIEM : Make sit seem like its not working
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, I know. There are some shows that use the chat on Facebook, or Twitch. But I don't care much for those surveillance platforms
  • REQUIEM : i would suggest removing the old comments below the window. The last post was Feb 27th.
  • REQUIEM : "instantly"
  • REQUIEM : This chat window seems so under-utilized. So many shows that could be insyantly commented on......yet its bare.
  • REQUIEM : I'm not very techie
  • REQUIEM : ok. i don't have one or use them.
  • Bob Jonkman : Not necessary, but some of us do use webcams
  • REQUIEM : I'd like to leasrn more about postingthe sound file and the script.
  • REQUIEM : I will do that. Do I need a webcam though?
  • Bob Jonkman : If you need some assistance, join Jeff Stager and the Programming Committee for a training session some Sunday at 8:30pm. We can go over the website stuff.
  • REQUIEM : well I guess I want to find a balance....th e show takes about 3 hours to write and an hour to record, so I don't wish to spend hours. But if i could do it fairly quickly, th euploads...then yeah.
  • Bob Jonkman : Copy'n'pasting into a new post (not uploading), but the point is you wouldn't have to write anything new
  • Bob Jonkman : Uploading the Word file should work great!
  • Bob Jonkman : I use "Antenna Pod" on my phone, and "Gpodder" on my computer
  • Bob Jonkman : The podcast could be played directly from the episode post on the website, but there is an RSS link so that people can subscribe with a podcatcher.
  • REQUIEM : So I could upload the "word" file that contains the script on to the show page?
  • Bob Jonkman : The posts on the website have no practical size limit.
  • REQUIEM : and where would that podcast get played?
  • REQUIEM : Would that fit on the show page?
  • REQUIEM : well the show script is usually about 10 pages...with the SONGS highlighted.
  • Bob Jonkman : You could even include the episode's sound file. That would create an automatic podcast for your show.
  • REQUIEM : some of the stuff is one off or esoteric and difficult to find that technical info or listings
  • Bob Jonkman : Maybe a quick synopsis of the show's theme. If you want to get elaborate then you could also include the commentary that you provide on the show.
  • REQUIEM : i see
  • Bob Jonkman : Doesn't have to be elaborate, just title and artist name. Maybe the album, maybe a link back to the artist's website,
  • REQUIEM : Well I'll be away a couple of weeks ( playing reruns) and back at the end of the month . So then I'll figure that out and also finally submit that show-promo recording.
  • Bob Jonkman : Yes, on the website. Probably better to create a separate post for each episode, similar to what several other shows do.
  • REQUIEM : Thanks so much for sharingthe show with me and your input.
  • REQUIEM : On my show page?
  • REQUIEM : How do you mean?
  • Bob Jonkman : Thanx Mr. Smart! Is it possible for you to post the music lists for the programs?
  • REQUIEM : Well hopefully the spirit lives on there!
  • Bob Jonkman : Probably no longer there, tho. I think they've moved their studios a few times since I was there last.
  • REQUIEM : yeah...as it will ever be.......
  • Bob Jonkman : Prominently magic-markered on the CFMU studio wall "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"
  • REQUIEM : yes great WHO song
  • REQUIEM : yes i know...happens to me a lot!
  • Bob Jonkman : A very apropos finale
  • Bob Jonkman : *Pedantry* - the fingers don't always type what the brain tells them
  • Bob Jonkman : Pendantry is why I'm here!
  • guest_1280 : As valid as any other!
  • Natasha : The Rhino Party had a sensible platform!
  • guest_1280 : The NLP party were earnest and serious about their movement actually. The Rhinos basically a humourous mild cynicism and tongue in cheek politics.
  • Bob Jonkman : I have trouble distinguishing the Natural Law Party from the Rhinoceros Party
  • REQUIEM : yes...an unfortunate fact.
  • Bob Jonkman : Of course, I >haven't< got that...
  • Bob Jonkman : "Not enough Cash"
  • REQUIEM : Got?
  • REQUIEM : Well...more like a Tool for the Rich
  • Bob Jonkman : Ah. Got it.
  • Bob Jonkman : Politics is a pursuit for the rich...
  • REQUIEM : Not enough Cash
  • Bob Jonkman : I know, not enough candidates...
  • REQUIEM : For sure...up the Rhinos!
  • Natasha : The Rhino Party would get my vote again, if only…
  • REQUIEM : Some of the parties tonight are anti -capitalist. But no Money No Votes.
  • Bob Jonkman : I suppose the Communist Party would fall under that banner
  • Bob Jonkman : I wonder if there's an "Anti-Capitalist Party".
  • REQUIEM : Fringe means they don't get funded by the Capitalists.
  • Bob Jonkman : "Fringe" implies weird ideas and conspiracy theories. But some of these parties have sound ideas, they just don't get the votes.
  • REQUIEM : Dispute all they want...they're fringe. They can embrace it!
  • Bob Jonkman : Fringe parties -- I'll bet some members of those parties would dispute that description
  • REQUIEM : Fringe partie sof Canada the theme
  • REQUIEM : Hello...thanks for listening!
  • Natasha : Rousing topic tonight Mr. Smart.
  • Bob Jonkman : Oooh! Is this an Election episode?
  • Bob Jonkman : Just tuned in. What's the Requiem topic for tonight?
  • Pundit : Dr. Tikl waxes eloquent over the election. Punk on!

  • Bob Jonkman : See you next week!
  • REQUIEM : Take care......thanks again!
  • REQUIEM : Oh yes......Works both ways....
  • Bob Jonkman : Older people are also quick to define their own musical tastes narrowly, but shut out the music of today as "unhip"
  • guest_8900 : People are often so quick to define their own musical tastes so narrowly and shut out the music of the past as "unhip."
  • Bob Jonkman : These are shows from the archives
  • Bob Jonkman : Yeah, too bad Val's not hosting the show on CKMS any more
  • guest_8900 : Eclectic Garage.....nice concept..........across the years and genres!
  • REQUIEM : Its fun and interesting to do the Show...I learn a lot.
  • Bob Jonkman : Thanx for doing them, Mr. Smart!
  • Bob Jonkman : (agreeing with "Best Synth Solo")
  • Bob Jonkman : I could agree with that... Vangelis has a few from which I might pick...
  • REQUIEM : Thanks for the listen and interest Bob. Keeps me typing them up.
  • Bob Jonkman : Gonna have to listen to the whole thing. It just got abbreviated again...
