Here is the full podcast from Sat. Feb 22nd! Three great albums were added to the Concept Album Mosaic. Plus a new show font added to optimize space – this little patch is going to get coloured soon!
Year: 2000, 2020
Notes: I can’t believe that this album came out 20 years ago! What a great album! Limblifter is a Canadian Classic. So to mark the 20 year anniversary the album was released for the first time on vinyl. The album includes an updated mastering process, which sometimes ruins an album in my opinion but for this album it sounds great AND the album also includes two extra unreleased tracks. Check it out above on our podcast and then get ordering! This vinyl is limited to only 300 copies!
Artist: Holy F&$#
Notes: Already in the running for one of the best albums released this year is Holy F%$^’s Deleter album! This album picks up right where the band left off with more cool electronic/indie combo tracks! Check out the full albums above on our podcast the go out and get this sweet vinyl!
Album: Bedlam in Goliath
Artist: The Mars Volta
Notes: I consider The Mars Volta one of my “Vinyl Bands”. Some bands I will just wait to listen until I get the vinyl. Some I have to have it so fast I will take anything. It is not a question of which bands I like more, I believe it has more to do with the type of music. Post Rock & Math Rock seem to be more “Vinyl Bands”. All others are CD, Digital and I’ve even started dabbling in tapes thanks to 3Nines Cassettes! Anyways, This album changed all that for me….Check out the podcast above!
Last weekend on Mano A Mano – Concept Album I featured one of my favourite all time bands….LIMBLIFTER!! Limblifter is currently working to re-release their Bellaclava album which will contain new material! Bellaclava will likely be re-released next year. However, on the podcast below you can hear Limblifters newest amazing album “Pacific Milk” Check it out here and then go buy all their merch!
If you have an album that you think should be added to the mosaic contact us on twitter or instagram: @mamradio
Above is our feature presentation of Ian Somers music from various different bands he has worked with. As one of our favourite musicians we are happy to bring to you his new track “All Failures” in the above podcast and since that podcast he has released one other track that can be heard here:
We recently had Evan from the Robot Apocalypse Collective in the CKMS Studio to share some Block Three Brewing Company Kind Street Saison’s, talk about new collaborations and where he gets inspiration for this exciting collaborative project. In addition to playing a few Robot Apocalypse tracks the Mano A Mano DJ’s play a throwback Song from Evans former band “Run Down Royalty” from when they were in the CKMS studio Years ago.
Matt Kras from the newly formed Robot Apocalypse Collective came by the Mano A Mano show to promote the new self titled EP that was just released. Check out the podcast above for some of the music and then Download it FREE on the link below!

Tonight we re-released episode 0 and episode 1 of The Electrifying Adventure of DJ Jeff E Jeff. Episode 0 is just the set up for the series and episode 1 is the pilot episode. If you listen to episode 1 and find the editing slow….well so do we! Make sure to check out episode 2 because that is where things really pick up and don’t look back!
Anyways check out the episode 1 and episode 0 posts!
We are very excited to finally getting around to posting this podcast with the brand new Limblifter track “Dopamine”. Just when you thought that all the great riffs had been rocked here comes an amazing new one that will definitely cause an earworm in your head!
The album “Pacific Milk” drops April 7th but if you attend one of this upcoming shows you can pick up an advanced copy! See you at the shows!
Now to start things off we were discussing on twitter with the Wet Secrets and the Gay Nineties to have them in the Mano A Mano environment for an interview or live to air. It turned out that they were watching Mounties bandmate Hawksley Workman’s play “The God that comes”. So we took a request from the Gay Nineties here is that twitter discussion.
The Gay Nineties requested the Hawksley Workman song “Tokyo Bicycle” which got us thinking on Air. The Mounties have a song “Tokyo Summer” and Hot Hot Heat (which includes Mounties member Steve Bays) has a song “Tokyo Vogue”. So the other official member of the Mounties is Ryan Dahle and he has no “Tokyo” song. BUT, he is releasing a new Limblifter album sometime soon…we tweeted him about his possibility….and it looks promising!
If there is a 14th song on the new Limblifter album you can thank the Mano A Mano show for that! If there isn’t…..we might have another collaboration project for Ryan!
