Agriculture is one of the many display and programming initiatives at the Museum. The music we play is from 3 local groups who were top billboard artists in the 60’s and 70’s.
The North Dumfries Community Club has been in existence for over 100 years. The club provides educational and social opportunities for its members. This is a recording of the feb 4 2014 meeting of the club at the Ayr Fire Hall.

Ryan Gariepy and Robin Albrecht from Clearpath Robotics are in studio today. www.clearpathrobotics.com are working hard at bringing automation to the world’s dullest, dirtiest, and deadliest jobs. One of their product development initiatives is to bring automation to agriculture. We play an interesting mix of “robot” themed songs.
Russ Hurst from www.cleanfarms.ca is in studio today. He brings news of this tri-yearly program where farm operators can dispose of expired herbicides and animal health products. We also listen to a bunch of tunes by Johnny Cash.
Scott and I discuss the the fire at St Jacobs market and the controversy around some hauling rigs seen on rural roads.
