The first hour of Regime Radio for 25th of June featured Spirit Nation Singers with Drum Circle at the Indigenous Market held on the 20th of June during the National Indigenous People’s Day weekend- together with the Earth Warrior Woman Singers – Aki Ogichidaa Kwewak N’Gamowak. Radio Waterloo had a great vantage point right adjacent to the stage – If you want to see pictures and video from the event, it is posted on Instagram for RadioWaterloo, as well as my IG which is @yennyintheworld.

The Indigenous Market was organized by William Martin, who is looking forward to the 2nd Annual Indigenous Market 2027, and has invited Radio Waterloo to be the Official radio station for -27! The Indigenous Market had vendors from around Ontario, as well as the Waterloo Region Indigenous Community Police cruiser.  The event was supported by City of Waterloo, The Uptown Waterloo BIA, as well as Ward 7 City Councillor, Julie Wright.

In the second hour, Kaitlyn Mitchell, Advocacy Director with Animal Justice, regarding animal cruelty in Canada.  One topic is the Live Export of horses that takes places, transporting horses overseas to be fattened up and slaughtered for delicacy purposes.

We shared an interview with Salema Dubcult and played her songs, Everyone and My Prayer. Then FOAO by Dox Tha Doctrine feat. Madame J, JCB & Jehry Robinson.
