Power Outage effecting service

There is a power outage at our station and broadcast facility, so our service is disrupted. While there is a winter storm warning in effect. The cause of the power outage appears to be a technical failure with HydroOne systems.

Our service will resume when the power is restored.
Come back to this website or other regional information sources for updates on the power outage situation as more information is released.

There was 1 fire at a transformer today that was brought under control. There was a small outage in Cambridge Yesterday, and one in September in Kitchener. The cause of the ongoing power failure is not currently released to the public, and police are operating on emergency power. There are no sirens heard and all is calm.

Join Common Cause KW for a workshop on ‘Ableism, Disability & Anarchism’. The workshop will include a short video, as well as participatory activities and discussion. It will explore the basic theoretical underpinnings of radical disability struggle vis-a-vis contemporary anarchist theory, as well as begin to venture into the practical struggles of radical disability.
