Jesse Webber and Jack Pender of The Crazy Diamonds on Coral FM

Jeese Webber and Jack Drysdale Pender have become regulars on Coral FM – and we like to have Wild and Crazy Excellent Musical Adventures from Ja ck and Jesse Unplugged to playing all of our fave songs.

Jesse Webber and Jack Drysdale Pender dropped by the Sound FM studio to play some Pink Floyd Unplugged.

The Crazy Diamonds are a sparkling nine piece ensemble who (in addition to their eclectic choice of funkadelic, sweet soul song renditions and original works) also do The Pink Floyd Songbook proud every single time they have ventured to The Dark Side.

Thanks to Kaufman Arts Studio Artistic Director Rachel Behling I also had the great fortune to speak with actor Richard Sheridan Willis in support of his one man show Strolling Player. Richard will be performing Strolling Player in Kitchener at The Kaufman Arts Studio on Sat Oct 27 at 8 pm.
He will also be conducting a Master Class on Friday Oct 26 from 7 to 10 pm. Tickets for Master Class are $20 and there are several spots still open in the class.- See you In the Aisles – Coral FM

About Strolling Player

From entranced boy at his father’s theatre to actor bringing Shakespeare to the White House, through death and divorce, Oscar Wilde and Harvey Fierstein, falling off the stage and falling in love, Richard Sheridan Willis recounts the passions and absurdities of one actor’s life.

Strolling Player is a kaleidoscope of vivid personal memories from a long vibrant career and hectic personal life, with speeches from Shakespeare, Webster, Shaw, Wilde and more commenting on the action. Cast list includes film stars, knights of the United Kingdom, an American president and a number of ex-wives. Strolling Player provides a unique personal journey through the magic of story-telling, drama and theatre.

About Richard (Sheridan) Willis

Born in Stratford-upon-Avon on purpose, Richard Sheridan Willis was given the Complete Works of Shakespeare as a christening present and dedicated to the theatre by his actor-director parents. He was on stage from the age of six, and after a TV and film career as a child actor, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. From London’s West End to Off-Broadway and the White House, he has performed Shakespeare, Ibsen and Wilde, through to Morris Panych, David Mamet and Tom Stoppard. Television appearances include Dr. Who, Law & Order, and Flashpoint. Love brought him to Canada, where he performed most recently in the Toronto production of The Railway Children.
