Born out of a grassroots critical thinking group who decided a podcast was the way to go – before podcasting was cool – TRC cuts through the “nonsense” using science to examine dubious claims.

I take a more personal slant in my show to demonstrate that every leader in our history was, in fact, human. Despite each and every one of us having a difficult challenge to overcome, we can seek encouragement from these personal stories, and allow them to propel us forward.
The knowledge of leader’s triumphs can aid us in our present and future so that we can seek to become more responsible and innovative stewards of our future, and only allow the positive aspects of history’s leaders to shine through.

Harrowsmith began as a groundbreaking Canadian magazine. It came to life on the kitchen table of James Lawrence in Camden East, Ontario in 1976. Back then it didn’t seem likely that his vision of a national magazine on the virtues of getting back to the land would last.
But before long Harrowsmith took off, quickly attracting legions of fans. Tapping into an urban desire to move to the country, the magazine also appealed to dyed-in-the wool ruralites. What Canada got was its magazine to promote green living and a country lifestyle. It also got the venerable Harrowsmith Almanac.
Over its 46-year history the Harrowsmith name became synonymous with Canadians living sustainably.
In this podcast we proudly continue the spirit of James Lawrence’s vision of sharing useful information for country dwellers and anyone seeking to tread a little more lightly upon the earth.

Zero Waste Countdown is a 30 minute radio show all about sustainability from a zero waste perspective.
Zero Waste is a concept that eliminates unnecessary waste from the regular consumer cycle to decrease our impact on the planet as a whole. A countdown to zero waste is a pledge to reduce waste in personal lives, organizations, communities, and even entire cities or nations. While reaching total zero may seem impossible, a countdown to zero waste is a manageable approach to living with less trash.
The ocean is on a countdown to 2050, when scientists predict there will be more plastic than fish. Laura is on her own countdown: to get as close as possible to zero waste. Through research, interviews, and personal experiences, Laura is on a mission to produce less waste and leave a happier, healthier planet for future generations.

Growing up with a Caribbean background in Ontario, I always wondered why I could never hear my type of music on the radio and now I want to make that a reality. I will be bringing my Caribbean flow, playing Soca, Reggae, Dancehall as well as some R&B and hip hop to offset it. We will be having live discussions, talking about universal law, the law of attraction and anything spiritual or universal. I would also love to use this platform to bring awareness and education surrounding issues such as trauma, abuse and consent to the forefront, teaching our community to share love instead of hate!
