Helllooooooooo listeners I am BACK (finally!!!) After a 2 month hiatus as I’ve gone through a number of changes, Through the Static is finally back and I’ve got so many tunes to bring to you!

Hello all Through the Static and Radio Waterloo listeners! As the title suggests, my show will be back with new episodes very shortly, apologies for the lack of new shows over the last little while as I’ve been adapting to recent changes in my own life.
Tune in next week for a new episode of Through the Static! I’ve got lots of new music and stories I’m excited to share!
On a warm summer evening, what better than to get a bit bluesy, a bit funky, and get a bit emotional, all while watching the last bit of sunlight fade from the sky? Bringing you a slate of songs that’ll get you grooving, jamming, crying(?), and maybe even sleeping 🙂
Oh brother! Or should I say, mother. With a special guest in the studio this week (my mom) we’re doing a lineup of mother-themed songs. For all the moms in your life, all the wannabe moms, and everyone in between, this one’s for you!
Jumping between metal-inspired songs new and old, indie rock songs, and synth music specifically designed for plants, we’ve got it all on Through the Static! Tune in while you watch the sun set from your backyard on this warm evening, or listen to a replay by the pool. It is summer after all 🙂

Taking you around the world, the instruments, and the genres tonight on Through the Static. One thing these tracks all have in common: they are great for the increasingly warm weather we’ve been having. And they’re all great, guess they have two things in common 🙂

Through the Static’s 60th episode! (and my belated birthday episode 🙂 Exploring a mix of old and new, popular and a bit more behind the scenes, upbeat and cheery vs dark and moody. Enjoy the mix!
Taking you around the country tonight to bring you some fun Canadian tunes, and a couple non-Canadian ones that just make me feel happy 🙂 Sit back and enjoy!
As the seasons change and lives come and go, it can be hard to find any ounce of consistency. But really, it’s the coming and going itself that is the certainty, and even though it might seem turbulent at times there is comfort to be found in endless things: family, friends, hobbies, cloudless skies, a favourite meal, and music. Sharing music tonight to help take you through whatever might be happening, good or bad, or just to be a temporary soundtrack. Either way, enjoy 🙂
Bridge Over Troubled Water – Simon & Garfunkel
Arias & Symphonies – Spoons
The Heavens Flock – Eriks Esenvalds (performed by the University of Waterloo Chamber Choir)
The sun is out again (for now) and we’re spinning sunny tunes and some deep cuts tonight on Through the Static to take you from the sunny day to the starry night.

Cheers to 50 episodes of Through the Static! While the theme tonight isn’t necessarily celebratory, it is (in my opinion) a good reflection of the type of stuff we like to explore here on Through the Static. So thank you all for listening, and here’s to the next 50 episodes!!
