Tonight at out meeting we will be discussing various shows and you might get a quick email sometime at the beginning of the year if we have your in the red.

Please also send me any last minute votes for the CKMS Golden MP3 Awards!

All votes matter some categories have very few votes where others have a lot! It has been an interesting year with lots going on at the station!

Hi Programmers!

First of all great work to our garage sale crew! $72 bucks is pretty good for people taking stuff that we want out of our space to make it look nicer in there!

Second, with December approaching this FRIDAY! please try and get your year end Cheques in! Some programmers have a difficult time getting in to the station during the Christmas and New Year Holidays so possibly submit your January Show Fees as well! January is always the most difficult time for the station. Usually due to rent increases.

Anyways Please try and get your show fees in! I hate sending out the Christmas emails of shows that are way behind.

Last, I wasn't able to get to the bank during November so I will be making a deposit Thursday night for all the November cheques and then sometime the week after for the December fees!

If there are any issues please let me know!

I have to cancel tonight's open training session. My car has been having a hard time starting with the new cold weather and I'm getting it fixed tonight so I can make it to work tomorrow. There is nobody scheduled for tonight but just incase there were going to be any drop ins.

The next open training session will be in two weeks: Sunday October 15 @9-10pm

If you have any questions or concerns about training please send them my way and if it's something I don't know I'll find out before the training session.

Keep up the great programming! I will admit usually I have a rotation of CKMS, CJIQ and CKWR on in my car and lately CKMS has been sounding way better to the point that I don't even check the other two!

Anyways, my next project that I'm looking to make a video for us remote broadcasting. Talk to you soon.

Hi Programmers one week until October!

Time to start getting those October show fees in!

Hi Programmers,

I hope you are all doing well. The last few weeks of summer have been interesting ones at the station! On the air we have sounded amazing, The new Board of Directors, mainly the old board with the addition of Kevin H. (Welcome Kevin) is going to be embarking on some station fixes and upgrades. Please email: board@soundfm.ca or office@soundfm.ca before you change anything at the station or if something isn't working. I have hear that the station computer is not playing through the board, although that might be fixed now…So be prepared with some CD's or MP3's as you go in this week!

As we define the new roles of the board members at the next meeting, if there is something that you would like to work on or help with please email us (or me) and let us (or me) know!

That being said, it is coming on September and we should be getting our show fees in. At some point during September or early October I'm going to be contacting shows that are behind with their show fees and just letting them know where they are at! Remember Station policy is that shows that are two months behind and that have not contacted the board will have their show turned green.

What does green mean? Well it means that somebody else could purchase your time slot and bump your show! Yuck! We had our first instance of that recently; it was not fun.

The Schedule – being one of the things that needs fixing, because it is still not on the site will be fixed soon! I would like to welcome or re-welcome a few shows that joined recently:

First we started a bi-weekly training program on Sundays 9-10Pm if you feel that you need to receive training on ANYTHING at the station please let me know and if I can do the training I will help you out or if I don't know how to do it I will either learn it or arrange for someone who knows to help you out! This training time slot will be for new programmers or any current programmers who need some training.

Welcome to all these new and returning shows! And Welcome to Kevin joining the Board of Directors!

This will not apply to 80% of you however for the 20% that it does apply to here is our temporary solution.

Currently the building personal have been locking the side door earlier – 10:00PM and their opening times are infrequent.

I have posted this in the station and here is a copy just in case you miss it. There is an entrance near the loading dock. The pass code is:
