“It’s a Vibe” with Sherice
“It’s a Vibe” with Sherice plays music that you don’t normally hear on the radio in Kitchener. Growing up with a Caribbean background in Ontario, I always wondered why I could never hear my type of music on the radio and now I want to make that a reality. I will be bringing my Caribbean flow, playing Soca, Reggae, Dancehall as well as some R&B and hip hop to offset it. We will be having live discussions, talking about universal law, the law of attraction and anything spiritual or universal. I would also love to use this platform to bring awareness and education surrounding issues such as trauma, abuse and consent to the forefront, teaching our community to share love instead of hate!
“It’s a Vibe” with Sherice is not currently on the CKMS-FM schedule.

#CANYouthVoteMatter & #CANMinorityVoteMatter Awareness Campaign!

Aalaa, Abdullah & Ayla will invite a guest every Sunday who will talk on the importance of Youth & Minority Vote and how they can become an active and strong part of the election process and have their voices heard.
To sponsor or to advertise please contact 416 710 5608 or go to www.aalaaconseil.ca
More information available on www.aalaaconseil.ca and Facebook page at; https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Personal-Blog/CAN-Youth-Vote-Matter-and-CAN-Minority-Vote-Matter-354264868472370/
Youth and Minority can benefit a lot with their increased participation in the election process. Any legislation made today affects their present and future.
Youth being a quarter and Minority being 1/5th of the total Canadian population, can play a decisive role in the elections and make their elected representatives make legislations that matter to them.

Aalaa, Abdullah & Ayla will also sing songs in this Radio Show.

CKMS Community Connections

Bonus: To hype new music that we get in and try to highlight local talent!
CKMS Community Connections has two purposes: One is to create quality content, the other for drop-in conversation and new music, hosted by a small pool of programmers.
CKMS Community Connections has a workshop series for producing radio/podcast/webcast: interviews, storytelling, podcast creation, video creation, and “Train the trainer” sessions on how to produce your own radio show. We’ll produce training documentation: webcasting, live to air programming, podcast production.
Live-To-Air broadcasting is a component, so when something happens somewhere else… We’ll have live -to-air discussion/talk/podcast recording at some community venue, maybe the library, maybe City Hall…
CKMS Community Connections is an ongoing drop-in training timeslot with experienced CKMS trainers for new programmers and existing programmers to refresh skills and learn new programs.
- Executive Producer Emerita: Jenniefer Stronge.
- Contributing Producers: Jeff Stager and Bob Jonkman, and any other Radio Waterloo programmers who want to host a show.
- Theme music by Steven Todd.
